The art of enamel from prehistory to the present
The exhibition’s poster on Vassilissis Sofias Avenue is inviting, it represents an opportunity to get away from the city noise and to find out more about the history of enamel and its journey from prehistory to today. The Byzantine and Christian Museum is currently hosting an exhibition showcasing enamel techniques from Europe all the way to southeast Asia. In the museum’s new, serene space, more than 170 items await to impress visitors with their brilliant quality and elaborate craftsmanship as well as attention to detail – especially in these fast-paced times.
