Tes, you heard correctly, «Swedish Arabia,» not Saudi Arabia, is the title of an exhibition of photographs by Yiannis Kanellopoulos at the Ersis Gallery, 4 Kleomenous St, Kolonaki. Although the exhibition takes place within four walls, the subjects are from life under the northern sky and bring together, on the same bench in a square in Stockholm, a young blonde and an Arab. Eighteen years after his first trip to Sweden, Yiannis, who studied photography there and has a teaching degree, says he «only was able to enjoy the beauty of the country and its contrasts when holding a camera.»
