An invitation to reception, lecture at Vorres Museum
The invitation is to a reception at the Vorres Museum in Paeania (the birthplace of the ancient orator Demosthenes) and a lecture on «The Vorres Collection as a Mirror of Contemporary Greek Art» by art critic Catherine Cafopoulos. It is signed by the president of the Greek-South African Association, Akis Panayiotis Cafopoulos, and the president of the Vorres Museum, Ion Vorres. Meanwhile, yesterday in the Cypriot capital Nicosia, an exhibition titled «Realism and Humor in Modern Greek Art» was opened by Cypriot Education and Culture Minister Ouranios Ioannidis at Nicosia municipality’s Famagusta Gate Cultural Center. The inauguration was addressed by Mayor Michalakis Zambelas and Ion Vorres, who spoke on «The Vorres Museum – A Lifelong Experience.»
