Climate Change | Athens | November 18-26
Joining the global conversation about climate change, the Canadian Institute in Greece (cig-icg.gr) presents a project by Dutch-Canadian artist and marine biologist Eveline Kolijn. “The Ocean Inside” is a multimedia installation centered on a film by the artist that is projected on a hand-printed veil in order to stress the fragility of the marine environment and humanity’s connection to it. The artist will give a talk on her work on November 22, while on November 24 the institute will screen another one of her projects, “Winterreise – Musings on a Winter’s Journey, the Sublime and Climate Change,” and on November 26, it will host a round-table discussion on climate change.
