Metamorphoses | Athens | To July 19

The Herakleidon Museum is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and 180 years since Athens was declared Greece’s capital, with the inauguration of a new space, the Herakleidon Museum Annex, just around the corner from the former. The annex’s first exhibition, “Metamorphoses of Athens,” which covers the development of the city from 1839 to 1950 through photographs, paintings and other archival material, has been extended and will now run through July 19. Opening hours are Tuesdays to Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
