The Athens State Orchestra will be paying tribute to Mikis Theodorakis on Tuesday, July 14, the Greek composer’s 90th birthday. The ensemble will play a selection of Theodorakis’s work, an inextricable part of postwar Greek history, at the Herod Atticus Theater as part of the Greek Festival.
