De Certeau Tribute | Athens | October 13
The French Institute in Greece presents a tribute to the French Jesuit and scholar Michel de Certeau (1925-86), in association with charity organization Artos Zois (Bread of Life) Foundation. The event takes place on Tuesday, October 13, with a lecture delivered by de Certeau specialist Luce Giard. In his acclaimed book “The Practice of Everyday Life,” De Certeau explored the ways in which individuals personalize mass culture. The event is set to start at 7.30 p.m. and features simultaneous Greek-French translation. Admission is free of charge,
