The Magic Flute | Athens | To November 8

The Greek National Opera presents a new production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” at the company’s Olympia Theater in a series of performances running through November 8. The alternating cast showcases leading company soloists, including Vassiliki Karayianni, Nina Koufochristou, Haris Andrianos, Arkadios Rakopoulos, Myrsini Margariti and Katia Paschou. Conducting the National Opera orchestra and choir are maestros George Petrou and Michalis Economou. Performances start at 8 p.m. Prices for tickets range from 15 to 55 euros (10 euros for children and students). Tickets are on sale at the theater’s box office.
