Budapest Festival Orchestra | Athens | November 15-16
The Budapest Festival Orchestra performs under the baton of its co-founder Ivan Fischer at the Athens Concert Hall on Sunday, November 15, and Monday, November 16. The concerts are part of the cultural organization’s “Great Orchestras, Great Conductors” series and also feature violin soloist Thomas Zehetmair. The ensemble will perform works by Sergei Prokofiev and Igor Stravinsky. Performances start at 8.30 p.m. And ticket prices range from 21 to 75 euros; 10 euros for students and the unemployed.
