Intolerance | Athens | January 20-31

The Onassis Cultural Center presents a performance based on D.W. Griffith’s landmark 1916 silent film “Intolerance.” Directed and adapted by Io Voulgaraki, the work is billed as a “silent music-theater epic which tackles the issue of intolerance versus solidarity.” Accompanied by a string quartet playing original music by Thodoris Abazis, the cast is led by Giorgos Gallos, Dimitris Georgiadis, Stelios Iakovidis, Despina Kourti, Alexandros Logothetis, Argyris Xafis, Sokratis Patsikas, Evi Saoulidou, Natalia Tsaliki and Nikos Chatzopoulos. Performances take place from January 20 to 31. Admission ranges from 15 to 28 euros.
