Rigoletto | Athens | To March 23
The Greek National Opera presents a new production of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Rigoletto” at the company’s Olympia Theater on Friday, March 18, Sunday, March 20, and Wednesday, March 23. The National Opera Orchestra is led by Ilias Voudouris. Directed by Nikos Petropoulos, the opera features Yannis Christopoulos and Ho Yoon Chung alternating in the role of the Duke of Mantua, Dimitris Platanias in the role of Rigoletto and Vassiliki Karayianni and Mirella Bunoaica alternating as Gilda. Shows start at 8 p.m. Admission ranges from 10 to 55 euros. Tickets are on sale at the theater’s box office.
