Led by Stavros Beris, the City of Athens Choir performs works by Greek and foreign 19th century composers at the Pallas Theater on Tuesday, March 22. The concert’s works pay tribute to the 1821-32 Greek War of Independence. Joining the choir on stage are soprano Julia Souglakou, mezzo-soprano Margarita Syngeniotou, tenor Dimosthenis Fistouris, baritone Dimitris Kasioumis and pianist Dimitris Giakas.
