The Benaki Museum’s Pireos Street annex is hosting a collaboration between cultural organization NEON and the Marina Abramovic Institute (MAI) through Thursday, March 24. The six-week program comprises an open-to-all project based on the Abramovic Method and a parallel program of performance and immaterial art called NEON-MAI Lab. Those wishing to take part in the Abramovic Method project must be over 15 years of age. On Tuesday, March 22, eight artists will present samples of their work to Abramovic and she will discuss ways in which they could develop it. The presentation, which will be in English, will take place between 5 and 8 p.m. and will feature artists Emilia Bouriti, Marianna Kavallieratos, Nikos Konstantakis, Beatrice Markopoulou, Yiannis Pappas, Nadia Papatheodorou and Lovesick (Vassilis Raftoyiannis and Petros Papaeleftheriou).
