The Onassis Cultural Center in Athens, aka Stegi, presents the Greek premiere of Gianfranco Rosi’s documentary “Fuocoammare” (Fire At Sea), winner of the Golden Bear at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival, on Tuesday, April 5. The director will be present to introduce the film, which explores life on the Italian island of Lampedusa, as hundreds of refugees and migrants arrive on its shores on a weekly basis. Admission is free of charge but seating is limited. Bookings are essential by sending an e-mail to [email protected], providing your first and last name, a mobile phone number and the number of seats you want (maximum 2). The documentary will be released in Greece in April.
