The Benaki Museum in Athens is hosting “Why? Children on the Move,” an exhibition featuring images by award-winning Bangladeshi photojournalist GMB Akash. The show highlights the plight of a young generation of refugees and migrants as they go in search of safety and hope, while advocating their right to a dignified life. The display runs through to May 22. The exhibition is under the auspices of Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and is jointly organized by the Foundation Archives + Production of Contemporary Art (APCd) and Merimna, a Greek nonprofit organization which supports children and families who experience sickness and death.
