Post Inferno – To Damascus | Athens | May 11-22
The Onassis Cultural Center in Athens, aka Stegi, presents “Post Inferno – To Damascus,” a trilogy of plays penned by Sweden’s August Strindberg. Shows will run May 11 to 22. Directed by Roula Pateraki, the trilogy is going on stage for the first time in Greece. The plays are based on existential, philosophical and theological dilemmas, autobiographical confessions and bouts of comedy. The cast is led by Lazaros Georgakopoulos, Ieronimos Kaletsanos, Dioni Kourtaki, Nikos Mavrakis, Mania Papadimitriou, Giorgos Papapavlou, Tasia Sofianidou and Alekos Syssovitis. Performances start at 8.30 p.m. Admission ranges from 15 to 28 euros.
