Tattoo Convention | Athens | May 13-15
The International Athens Tattoo Convention takes place at the Tae Kwon Do Stadium in Neo Faliro, southern Athens, from Friday, May 13, to Sunday, May 15. Taking part are local artists including Mike the Athens, who is also the event’s artistic director. On the international front, participants include Nikko Hurtado, Tattooing Norm and Jamie Schene from the US, Spain’s Jondix, Italy’s Rudy Fritsch and Japan’s Mitomo Horihiro. Also on the convention’s agenda are skate and bike shows, presentations, competitions and street dance shows, among others. Doors open from 2 p.m. to midnight on Friday and from noon to midnight on Saturday and Sunday. Admission costs 10 euros for one day (20 euros for three days).
