Ai Weiwei at Cycladic | Athens | To October 30

The Museum of Cycladic Art presents Ai Weiwei’s first major exhibition in Greece, which includes a new work created especially for the museum. The exhibition, which will run through October 30, is also the Chinese artist’s first in an archaeological museum. Among the works on display are Ai’s “Divina Proportione” (2012), “Mask” (2011), “Cao” (2014) and “Grapes” (2011). The museum will be donating 10 percent of all exhibition proceeds to Doctors Without Borders and METAdrasi, two NGOs that are currently assisting refugees in Greece. Opening hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
