A World Not Ours | Samos | August 5 – October 15

Art Space Pythagorion in the village of Pythagoreio on the island of Samos is hosting “A World Not Ours,” an exhibition organized by the Schwarz Foundation as part of the annual Samos Young Artists Festival. The show, which runs from August 5 to October 15, explores the issue of the refugee crisis and forced migration through works by artists, photographers, filmmakers and activists. Participants include Yannis Behrakis, Tanja Boukal, Roza El-Hassan, Ninar Esber, Mahdi Fleifel, Marina Gioti, Sallie Latch, Giorgos Moutafis, Laura Kurgan and Ben Rubin. Admission costs 2 euros and proceeds will benefit the island’s Irini cultural organization. For group visits or guided tours, call 22730.62169.
