Fantasticon Festival | Athens | June 9 & 10
The Trianon open-air movie theater is hosting the Fantasticon Classic Movies Festival on June 9 and 10, starring a slew of valiant warriors, fantastical creatures and revolutionaries of dystopian societies. Friday’s screenings are “Fire and Ice” (English, 1983) at 6.30 p.m., “Legend” (English, 1985) at 8.10 p.m. and “The City of Lost Children” (French, 1995) at 10 p.m. Saturday starts with “Wonderful Days” (Korean, English, 2003), followed by “Scanners” (English, 1981) at 7.45 p.m. and “The Innocents” (English, 1961) at 10 p.m. Tickets cost 5 euros per day.
