Singer-songwriter Sofia Sarri will perform a career-spanning show as a part of the Music Escapades concert series at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on Saturday, October 21. Largely avant-rock, with a mix of Scandinavian black metal, urban ambient and dark-hop, Sarri is a fixture on the local alternative scene. On the night she will be experimenting with traditional and contemporary forms of music, and will be joined by Kostas Stergiou on keyboards, Michalis Vrettas on violin, Petros Lampridis on double bass, Dimitris Hiotis on Cretan lyra and Vaggelis Paraskeuaidis on the vibraphone. The show starts at 9 p.m. and admission is free of charge.
