Greek Animal Rescue | Athens, Thessaloniki, Patra & Amaliada | November 1

Filmmaker Menelaos Karamaghiolis pays homage to the efforts of volunteers across the country in the documentary “Greek Animal Rescue,” which he describes as an allegory exploring one of the many effects of the crisis on society in the past seven years. The film is part of the Cine Doc initiative and will be screened on Wednesday, November 1, at the French Institute in Athens (31 Sina, Kolonaki), at 7.30 p.m., at the Stavros Tornes cinema at Thessaloniki’s port complex at 9 p.m., at Patras’s Pantheon (34 Gounari) at 9.30 p.m. and at the Cine Cinema (Antoniou Petralia & Smirnis) in Amaliada at 10 p.m.
