Artist Antonis Donef makes a confession about an incident from his student days at the Athens School of Fine Arts in his solo show “The Cheat,” on display at Kalfayan through December 9, while also inviting the viewer to question the process of learning. The show of installations centers on a piece where a closer look reveals bits of text from “The Story of Art” by E.H. Gombrich etched on each of the 30 pens the artist used during an exam. Visiting hours are Mondays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesdays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show opens at 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 2.
