The National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation (MIET) presents “The End of our Old City, Thessaloniki 1870-1917,” a photography exhibition organized in collaboration with the British Embassy in Greece and showing how the northern port looked before the huge fire that razed the downtown area. The exhibition, which opens on Wednesday, November 15, and runs through February 18, features images from the MIET collections, as well as photographs on loan from public and private archives and collections. The MIET museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
