For the eighth edition of the Plissken Festival, organizers have put together an innovative and multicultural lineup of pioneering artists, genres and trends from across the spectrum of contemporary music. The two-day festival presents 40 artists from Greece and elsewhere at three venues in downtown Athens, offering a platform for the sounds of the future – think Mac DeMarco, Andy Stott, Weval – as well as for artists who have defined genres and scenes – Mulatu Astatke, Lena Platonos, Ivan Smagghe.
