Johann Strauss Ensemble | Athens | December 9-10
The Johann Strauss Ensemble, conducted by Russell McGregor, is coming to the Athens Concert Hall on December 9 and 10. Accompanied by soprano Gina Fotinopoulou and the Manolis Kalomiris Children’s Choir, the orchestra will perform waltzes by some of the great Viennese composers, such as the Strauss family, Lehar, Lanner and more. The performances start at 8.30 p.m. on Saturday and 7 p.m. on Sunday. Ticket prices range from 18 to 33 euros.
