Thessaloniki in WWI | Thessaloniki | To September 30

“Into the Vortex of the Great War: Thessaloniki of the Armee d’Orient (1915-1918)” brings together stunning photographic material, paintings and literary illustrations made by foreign soldiers who served in the Allied army and were stationed in the northern port city. It also explores the impact on the city of thousands of refugees from Asia Minor, while presenting architect Ernest Hebrard’s vision for the city center. Daily opening hours until March 31 are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from April 1 through the summer are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
