Military Music | Athens | May 18 & 19
Zappeion Hall hosts Athens’s first Military Music Festival on Friday and Saturday. With pianist Stefanos Korkolis as the special guest, the event features the official band of Kazakhstan’s Presidential Guard, the Yerevan Drums band from Armenia, the Moscow Cossack Choir, Russia’s National Guard Band and other ensembles. Doors open at 9 p.m. and ticket prices start at 12 euros if purchased in advance, from www.viva.gr.
