Platforms Project | Athens | May 16-19
Serving as an incubator for emerging artists, this year's edition of the Platforms Project is the biggest to date, presenting 60 platforms from 17 countries at the Nikos Kessanlis Exhibition Hall of the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA) along with a diverse parallel program of talks and meetings, video screenings, children’s programs, performances and parties. As the name suggests, the artist-run initiative is aimed at providing a platform for independent Greek and foreign artist groups as well as to map emerging trends and address current issues.
