Greek current account gap narrows in February

Greece’s current account deficit narrowed sharply in February compared to the same month in 2020, to 84 million euros from 1.15 billion euros a year earlier, the Bank of Greece said on Tuesday.

Tourism revenues fell to 23 million euros in February from 221 million euros in the same month in 2020 as global restrictions to stem the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic took a toll on travel.
