Greece’s insurance sector posts growth in 2021

Insurance premium production rose 7.7% in 2021 on an annual basis, totaling 4.264 billion euros, the Union of Insurance Companies of Greece said in a report on Thursday.

The report said that life insurance premium production rose 10% to €2 billion, liability premium production rose 5.7% to €2.3 billion and car insurance premium production fell 1% in 2021.
