Residential property prices remain firmly on growth course
House sale prices continued to rise at a blistering pace in the second quarter, as the combination of high demand and ever-shrinking supply works in favor of sellers, especially if properties are in prime locations and in good condition
According to Bank of Greece data, prices nationwide increased by 13.9% annually, while based on the revised data, in 2022 the annual growth rate was 11.8% and 7.6% in 2021.
Overall, in the first half of this year, prices across the country recorded an increase of 14.2%.
Still, in the second quarter there was a slight slowdown in the increase rate, as in Q1 prices had risen 14.5%.
