Intralot gets extension on its Ohio deal

Greek lottery systems provider Intralot said on Monday that its Ohio contract has been extended by two years.

The Athens-based company said it will continue to supply equipment and services to the Ohio Lottery while adding vending machines, innovative points of sale and advertising displays to boost growth.

No financial details were provided.

?The new vending machines will be supplied by Intralot?s manufacturing facility in Mason, Ohio, which has now assumed production responsibility for all of Intralot?s domestic and international vending equipment requirements,? the company said in a statement.

Shares in Intralot outperformed yesterday, rising 1.36 percent to 1.49 euros, boosting the company?s market capitalization to 236.8 million euros. The broader market dipped nearly 2 percent.
