Summit prospect cuts stock losses
The Greek bourse suffered a ninth consecutive session of losses on Thursday, a three-year record, although the main index managed to trim earlier losses to a minimum thanks to expectations of a eurozone summit next week.
The general index of the Athens Exchange (ATHEX) fell 0.18 percent to 1,188.19 points, while the FTSE/ATHEX 20 blue chip index dropped 0.50 percent.
In total, 47 stocks moved up, 80 went down and 48 remained unchanged.
Turnover reached 74.2 million euros.
