Greeks only opt for weekends away
Domestic tourism this summer is currently showing a 20 percent decrease, according to the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises and the Panhellenic Hoteliers Federation.
The decline varies from region to region but is a clear sign of Greeks? economic woes at this point in time, hoteliers and tourism professionals note.
They observe that Greeks are opting for weekends away rather than longer holidays.
