Germany to enhance cooperation with Greece
Athens and Berlin will work closer to bolster German investment in Greece, Greek Development Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis (right) and German Deputy Minister of Economics and Technology Stefan Kapferer agreed on Thursday in Athens.
?Germany has launched an investment offensive in Greece,? Kapferer said.
Among the initiatives discussed was a boost in cash flow for banks and enterprises, sharing know-how on various levels and seeking investment opportunities in energy, shipping, food, refuse and infrastructure.
An agreement will be formalized during a visit by Minister of Economics and Technology Philipp Roesler to Athens on October 6-7.
