Turnover in Greek tourism sector fell by 16.9% in first quarter of 2013
The turnover index for Greece’s tourism sector fell by 16.9 percent in the first quarter of 2013 compared to year earlier, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Friday.
The index for the corresponding period of 2012 as compared to 2011 decreased by 24 percent, ELSTAT said.
The index during the first quarter of this year compared to the fourth quarter of last year fell by 24.3 percent.
