The government is planning to tender six more projects on its state-asset sales list, an integral part of its growth plan, by the end of February, Costas Mitropoulos, chief executive officer of the state privatization fund (TAIPED), said on Wednesday.
He did not specify which projects will be auctioned, but stressed that negotiations on the major road projects have already begun.
?Let?s see this story through,? Mitropoulos said at a conference in Athens, referring to the sell-off project which is also a key demand of Greece?s creditors.
?Privatizations are not the solution to the problem, but they are the biggest clear contributor to growth in the country.?
A month ago Mitropoulos had said there would be six more tenders by the end of January.
