Taxi service liberalization in limbo

The liberalization of the taxi profession has stalled in the absence of pressure by the country?s official creditors, with the Infrastructure Ministry appearing reluctant to implement any of the previous plans for the opening-up process.

It remains to be seen how the successor to Makis Voridis, the infrastructure, transport and networks minister who resigned on Friday, will handle this hot potato once he or she is appointed.
