OPAP CEO: Country needs stable environment

The Greek Parliament?s approval of new austerity measures was a ?necessary decision? to move Greece forward and to secure a stable business environment, OPAP SA?s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Ioannis Spanoudakis said on Monday in a Bloomberg TV interview.

Spanoudakis said that while the business environment in Greece will not improve over the next 12 months following implementation of the measures, eventually the economic situation will get better.

Greece?s future is within the euro area and OPAP as a company is working on that basis, Spanoudakis said. [Bloomberg]
