OEE closure means no daycare for 2,000 children
Parents took part in a demonstration in Athens on Thursday to protest the abolition of the organizations providing state-subsidized housing and services to workers (OEK and OEE).
They oppose the fact that abolishing OEE will result in the closure of a number of state nurseries, leaving more than 2,000 children without daycare services.
The measure forms part of the agreement Parliament voted on last Sunday to keep the country from defaulting.
