Survival guide for foreign investors
A group of 100 lawyers and economists, along with the Development Ministry and the Invest in Greece corporation, have gathered all the information one needs to to invest in this country in one publication.
Billed as a ?survival guide for foreign investors,? the publication is titled ?Greek Law Digest, Investor?s Guide? and besides the print version will soon be available in electronic form at the www.greeklawdigest.gr Internet address.
The guide is in English and will be updated regularly, particularly when significant legal changes are made. The information provided concerns the whole spectrum of the Greek system.
The publication includes, for instance, information on the local justice system, the main points of civic law, the operation status and charters of companies, as well as the tax system concerning them. It also contains details on the law regarding limited liability companies, mutual funds and banks.
There is also information on imports and exports, customs, patent law, transport and shipping and even sports.
