Minister discusses tourism blocks with UK ambassador

Development Minister Anna Diamantopoulou (photo) discussed the bureaucratic and legal obstacles to four British companies wishing to invest in Greece (in tourism and real estate) at a meeting on Monday in Athens with the UK ambassador to Greece, David Landsman.

At least one firm that submitted an application to the Invest In Greece state corporation to enter the fast-track process will secure a license as it is expected to clear the obstacles quickly following yesterday?s meeting.

Ways of increasing Greek exports were also on the table.
