PPC subsidiary wins geothermal tender
PPC Renewables SA, a unit of Public Power Corporation, won a tender for the right to explore for geothermal energy in Greece.
The unit has the right to research the geothermal potential of four areas of the country to find possible suitable sites for geothermal power plants, the Athens-based Energy Ministry said on Friday in a statement on its website.
PPC Renewables undertakes to carry out research projects worth 62.9 million euros, according to the statement. [Bloomberg]
