Alpha buyback to boost Core Tier 1 capital

Alpha Bank SA said yesterday it will buyback all outstanding securities tendered after its April 20 repurchase offer and this will result in a boost to its Core Tier 1 capital of 333 million euros, or 74 basis points, according to an Athens bourse filing on Monday.
