Greek bourse operator?s earnings drop in Q1

Hellenic Exchanges SA, operator of Greek financial markets, said net profit in the first quarter fell to 4.8 million euros from 9.2 million euros in the same period of 2011.

Sales fell 33 percent to 10.4 million euros amid lower share prices for listed companies and after the company ?significantly? cut prices for its derivative services, the Athens-based company said in an e-mailed statement on Monday.
