Credit Agricole says no plans to exit Greece

The chairman of Credit Agricole SA, Jean-Marie Sander, said the French bank has no plans to exit Greece. ?You don?t quit a company or a country overnight,? Sander said at the bank?s annual shareholders meeting in Paris on Tuesday.

Sander also reiterated that Credit Agricole expects Greece to be able to keep the euro as its currency. Credit Agricole owns Emporiki Bank, an Athens-based unprofitable consumer-banking network.
