Exports set for slowdown this year
Growth of Greek exports, such as cotton, will slow down from 9.4 percent last year to between 4 and 6 percent in 2012, the head of the Panhellenic Exporters Association, Christina Sakellaridis, told the union?s annual general meeting on Wednesday.
However, importers are facing serious problems, as will Greek manufacturing and commerce, because Euler Hermes, the world?s biggest trade credit insurer, has decided to stop covering exports to Greece.
