Intralot to operate Maltese national lottery
Intralot SA, the world?s second-biggest gambling services provider, said on Wednesday its Maltese unit was awarded a 10-year concession and license to operate the country?s national lottery, according to an e-mailed statement from the Athens-based company.
The contract is valued at 39.1 million euros and takes effect on July 5 according to the statement. [Bloomberg]
