OECD chief economist calls for ‘effective action’ in Greece
The chief economist for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Pier Carlo Padoan says that ?anything can happen? in relation to the Greek crisis and has called on the Greek government to make greater efforts to conduct structural reforms.
“Greece has lost many opportunities to show effective results,? Padoan told Dow Jones Newswires. «The homework has been clear on tax evasion, privatization and other reforms, but nothing has seriously happened. The government must show that it means to take effective action.”
